#5 Ilaix Moriba (Age: 18 | Midfield)

Another product of the La Masia, Ilaix Moriba, is currently a Barcelona B player but was given his first-team debut in the match against Cornell in the Copa del Rey. He was given the start after making it to the bench a few times before and he did not disappoint. Brilliant in the air and can hold the ball on the ground, Moriba is on his way to become a great holding midfielder.

He has great vision and can find spaces to break open defenses with a good pass. He has a bit of a Paul Pogba like attitude as he tends to hold on to the ball a bit longer than required and show his skills on the pitch. He also has a pretty powerful shot like the french midfielder and is often seen trying to put the ball at the back of the net from a distance.

Moriba still has to develop a lot to play regularly in the first team, but his natural talent has helped him rise through the tiers quickly and it is quite an achievement to make your debut for Barcelona at only 18 years of age.
