Barcelona scout Vaya Ballabriga ‘Mani’ has stated that he has found the next ‘Neymar’ and that the Blaugrana should sign him up before anyone else. The Spaniard has also stated that the youngster is one of the best players in La Liga currently.

More from Everything Barca

One would laugh at such premature claims by Mani but he was a key member of staff in bringing in Andres Iniesta, Ansu Fati, and many other such talents to La Masia and eventually having them play a major role for Barcelona. Bryan is currently on loan at Eibar but he is bound to return to Sevilla once the season ends.

Gil is from Barbare, Cadiz. He came through the academy of Sevilla. He has spent loan spells previously at Leganes and is now with Eibar for this season. While Mani wants Barca to sign him, Sevilla seems to be well aware of this teenager’s potential hence they are not willing to hold discussions with other clubs.

Mani has stated that according to him Gil is the best footballer in La Liga currently. The Catalan has stated that the youngster is extremely versatile, diverse and that he can play as a full-back, midfielder, and winger. The youngster just turned 20, and the scout is already heavily impressed by him. On his suggestions, the Blaugrana should definitely consider bringing the talent to the Nou Camp.

The Spaniard has also stated that if Barcelona are supposed to sign him they should do it instantly. The youngster currently has a 35 million euro release clause with Sevilla. However, if he does end up renewing his deal with the Spanish giants, his price could go up to as high as 150 million. Hence, Mani suggests that the Blaugrana should move on him quickly. He has reportedly also had a word with the current sporting director Ramon Planes and according to the scout, they have Bryan in their mind.
