Bayern Munich beat Tigres in the FIFA Club World Cup final a few days ago to secure their 6th title for Hansi Flick’s first season in charge. The Bavarians became only the second-ever team to achieve 6 titles in a single season. The first team to achieve this particular level was obviously Pep Guardiola’s Barcelona way back in 2009. The Blaugrana played some absolutely top-notch football, probably the best display of the game in the whole wide world’s history to achieve this particular 6 trophy mark in a single season.

More from Everything Barca

After Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich won their sixth trophy of the season, Manchester City coach and former Blaugrana coach Josep Pep Guardiola had nothing but nice words for the Bavarians. The Catalan congratulated them with pure joy and he seemed really happy for the Bayern Manager.

Then he went on to make a joke where he stated that his Barcelona side and Hansi Flick’s Bayern Munich should have a match and that he will call up Lionel Messi and the rest of his players for a match. The two-time Premier League champion stated that his Barca team and Hansi Flick’s side should play for a seventh trophy.

Bayern Munich sporting director has now come out with a response for the Catalan coach. Hasan Salihamidzic stated that he is ready for Pep Guardiola’s challenge. The German revealed that him and his team are ready and that his team are more than capable of beating the 2009 Barca. Hasan continued by saying that his team is the strongest in the world currently and that they are capable of taking on anyone and beating them.
