1) Lionel Messi is the greatest ever for Barcelona

The match against Huesca was a very special match for the Catalan skipper as his appearance meant that he is now Barcelona’s most used player. He now has 767 appearances for the Catalan kings in all competition. He has reached the same number of appearances as Xavi Hernandez and one more game will make him the greatest player in the club’s history. Messi did not fail to perform on this monumental day either. The 33-year-old veteran scored two absolute screamers from outside the penalty box. He played like he used to back in his prime and seemed unstoppable with the ball. He has now scored three goals from outside the D box in two matches. This is a great form for the Argentine and if he keeps it up, he can definitely guide his team to another La Liga trophy.
