The Dutch manager had intended to sell Dembele but the winger wanted to stay on and now he has become one of Koeman’s main player. His chances came after Ansu Fati got injured and the manager needed another winger.
Now Dembele even plays as a lone striker sometimes and his pace is the attribute that makes him very dangerous for the opposition. However, although he has been given a lot of starts this season, his statistics in front of the goal are not very good.

Dembele will surely keep this advice in his head as Shevchenko was one of the best strikers in his prime and even won the Ballon d’Or in 2004. The French player will battle alongside his team for the Copa del Rey and the La Liga till the end of the season and Barcelona will really benefit if the player starts finding the back of the net regularly.
