This is a piece of sad news for City fans who could not enjoy the most of the fantastic striker during his last few seasons due to injury, however, for Barcelona, this is a golden opportunity that they must take. The Catalans let go of Luis Suarez at the beginning of the season, thinking that he was past his prime however, the Uruguayan striker proved to them that age is just a number in football.

Now the Blaugrana have the chance of securing one of Europe’s most lethal striker although he is in his final few years. The 32-year-old striker has been replaced by Gabriel Jesus at the Etihad Stadium but he still has a lot to give. He would be a fantastic fit at Barcelona as they desperately need a number nine to fill in Suarez’s boots.

Aguero could be a temporary solution until they find a younger talent. The Premier League legend has to be considered as one of the super strikers in the world and he has already played in La Liga before which is a huge advantage. On top of that, the striker shares a good bond with Lionel Messi and could even convince the captain to stay on with the Catalans.

With more than 350 career goals, the Argentine can become the much-needed target man for Ronald Koeman. Although the Dutch manager is keen on bringing in Memphis Depay, he would not want to miss out on a player like Aguero, especially when he will be available for free at the end of the season.
