#3 Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan (Age: 23 | Forward)

The 23-year-old striker from Inter Milan has been long on Barcelona’s list and they got close to signing him last year as well. After the dismissal of Luis Suarez, the Catalans needed someone clinical and of the same caliber on their team to put the balls at the back of the net. This, however, did not go according to plan due to the poor financial situation.

The Catalans could pay Inter very little upfront and their wage offered to Martinez was abysmal according to Martinez’s representatives. The deal did not go through due to this however, they have not left the pursuit for the player. The Argentine is still highly sought by the club and even Lionel Messi acknowledged that the striker would be a good fit at the Blaugrana.

The striker helped Inter win their first Scudetto in nine years by providing 15 goals and eight assists in the league. This proves to us that he is a player who has a great impact even when he is not scoring. Laporta will definitely try to bring in this player if he gets some extra funds via the sponsorship deal.
