32-year-old Sergio Aguero has been targeted by Barcelona after Manchester City made it clear that the club would be parting ways with their legendary striker at the end of the season. The Catalans let go of their super striker, Luis Suarez, after assessing that he was too old to continue playing for a top side like Barcelona however, they rued that decision ever since as he has become one of the key players in Atletico Madrid’s success this season.

The Uruguayan kept on his goal-scoring boots at Madrid and the team currently sits on top of the table with only four games left to go. It seems as the club has learnt from their mistake and they are not going to discriminate based on a players’ age. Aguero, while being old, still has the capability of being a top striker and he already has experience playing in the La Liga before. He could be a temporary solution till the Catalans find a younger alternative but they should definitely go for the player as this is a deal that is too good to miss out on.
