#6 Pau Torres (Age: 24 | Club: Villarreal)

The Villarreal centre-back would be a massive addition to Barcelona at this point. Pau Torres is fantastic on the ball and can pick out passes to beat complete defences. He’s top in the air and he’s got pace. He’s already played in La Liga for quite a while and he’s got the experience.

Torres is young and does not look very injury-prone so far. Good height and good physicality will lead him to be one of the top centre backs in the future and he’s definitely got the potential. He’d be a massive and significant signing for the Catalans if the club do land him in the summer.

#5 Eric Garcia (Age: 20 | Club: Manchester City/Barcelona (pending confirmation)

Manchester City’s Eric Garcia has reportedly agreed to terms and has taken a wage cut in order to join the Blaugrana in the summer. The centre back had turned down multiple contract offers from the City group to hold out so far so the Catalans can make a move this summer and land the player through a free transfer given his contract is up.

Eric Garcia would be yet another perfect match for the La Liga giants. He’s Spanish so he’s naturally very good on the ball. He can progress the ball forward very well. He’s got top-notch passing and tends to stay very calm during build-ups in the back sustaining high pressure from the opponent. Physically he’s not the best but compared to the Premier League, the La Liga is less physical. A transfer to the Nou Camp for the Manchester City man looks inevitable in the summer.
