Barcelona look into swap deal between Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix
Barcelona will be looking to bring in reinforcements next season after a decent first year of their transitional phase. However, the possibility of bringing in new players and especially big names is very slim due to their huge outstanding debt of over a billion euros. Thus not only will they be needing to get some new sponsorships and investment loans, but they might also have to sell a few players.

Alternatively, they could also try to swap some of their players for others. According to Catalunya Radio, this is exactly what they will try to do as it has been rumored that Barca might be willing to let go of Antoine Griezmann for Joan Felix.
Latest Barcelona rumors hint towards a swap between Joan Felix and Antoine Griezmann
While this seems pretty interesting and might work out for the Catalans in the long run, the actual chances of this happening are quite slim to none. Atletico Madrid do not want to let go of their most expensive signing and their President, Enrique Cerezo, even confirmed that Felix will not be moving to any club next season. He said in an interview with Manu Carreno,
"“Possibilities of Joao Félix leaving this summer?”“None. The player has to adapt, possibly the day he takes off he will be one of the most important players on the planet. Players are not machines, they have their good days and their bad daysSource Cadena SER"
However, when questioned about Griezmann and the possibilities of bringing him back to the club, the President’s eyes lit up and he gave a glowing review about the Frenchman. However, he is also sure that Barcelona will not let a player like Griezmann go from their club. He said in the same interview,
"“Griezmann? He is a magnificent player and I hope to get him back, but I don’t think Barça wants to get rid of him. Any team would be delighted to have a player like him.”"
It is true, Griezmann has been a fundamental part of Barcelona’s season last season and without his 20 goals and 12 assists, the Catalans would not have been able to finish third in the league and win the Copa del Rey. He finally showed his true potential however, with Barcelona in desperate need for money, they might sell him now that his transfer value has skyrocketed.
The sale of the French superstar should be enough to bring in the Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from Dortmund however, these are all speculations as of now and we must wait and see what happens in the transfer window.
