#8 Ronald Araujo (Barcelona 2-2 Valencia)

The greatest-looking goals do not always come from the best attackers and oftentimes it is the most unlikely player who will score a stunning goal. That is exactly what happened in Barcelona’s match against Valencia in La Liga. The scores were tied at and Barca were looking for a way to take the advantage. That’s when 22-year-old, former B team center-back, Ronald Araujo scored one of the best volleys of the season.

The ball bounced in the penalty box and no one was sure what to do, however, Araujo instinctively took a flying scissor kick to put the ball at the back of the net. He decided to go for pure power and he ended up getting his first goal for the Catalans. The Blaugrana could not hold on to the lead and the match ended up as a 2-2 draw. However, it was a special moment for a very special player, and it is always nice to see defenders getting on the scoresheet.
