Barcelona’s game against Juventus in the UCL group stage was one of the biggest games of their season. After a disheartening 3-1 loss to Real Madrid, the Catalans needed a big result against the former champions of Italy. Juve were a well-oiled team while Barca were still finding their identity under Ronald Koeman. They need to score the first goal in the match to gain control of the game and that is exactly what they did. Ousmane Dembele stepped up in the 14th minute of the game and tried an ambitious shot from outside the box.

The shot took a small deflection but enough to float the ball in the back of the net. It was not the cleanest goal however, it was one of the most important goals of the season and Barcelona were able to hold on to that early lead and confirm the victory in the 90th minute with a second goal, this one from the penalty spot.
