#7 Biggest Improvement

Antoine Griezmann has had the biggest improvement last season for Barcelona. The French Superstar who arrived from Atletico Madrid in 2019 for a massive fee of 120 million euros, had not been able to show his true form in his first season with his new club. It seemed like the player was not fitting into the Barcelona system and that he was just another big-money flop like Philippe Coutinho.

However, the Frenchman stepped up his game in the 2020/21 season and he scored 20 goals last season while providing 12 assists as well. This is a huge improvement and it is a reminiscence about his time at Atletico. Griezmann’s season started off poorly and he was often not started by Koeman however, by the end of the season, the superstar got more comfortable and he scored some beautiful goals as well. He deservedly takes the award for the biggest improvement.
