Barcelona Transfers: Top Striker options for 2021/22 season
#3 Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur | Age: 27)
Yes, while Manchester City are the favorites to sign the English captain, one can never write off Barcelona from big-money transfers. The Catalans are one of the most elite clubs in all of Europe and although they might not be able to match City’s transfer fee, their logo still symbolizes heritage and legacy that anyone would want to play for. Kane has made it clear that he wishes to leave Tottenham in search of trophies. Although he is one of the world’s most prolific strikers, he doesn’t have any trophies to show for it.
He has won the Premier League golden boot on three occasions and has scored 221 goals for Tottenham in 336 appearances. Kane would be an amazing signing for Barcelona but it will be difficult to go toe to toe with Manchester City financially. They will have to hope that the Spurs man is willing to take a smaller wage to join one of the most prestigious teams of all time however, it is unlikely considering the fact that City will be a much more convenient choice for the striker.
