#4 Memphis Depay (Olympique Lyonnais | Age: 27)

Ronald Koeman was desperate to bring in Memphis Depay from the moment the Catalans let go of Suarez. Koeman wanted to replace the aging veteran with Depay, as he had already worked with the Dutch winger before. The player is a winger traditionally however, Koeman turned him into a number nine during their time in the Netherlands National team. He plays as a center-forward in Lyon as well and scored 20 goals while providing 12 assists in the Ligue 1. Depay becomes a free agent by the end of June this year and then Barcelona will have an opportunity to sign him for free.

Koeman could not sign him before due to monetary reasons however, this transfer window they have a good chance of getting him. PSG are their main rivals in signing him and the French side has already stolen Gini Wijnaldum from under their nose. Should Depay be motivated by money, then it is quite likely that he will not be joining the Catalans however, the Dutch player had already stated before that he would like to play for Barca so he may still be interested in joining Koeman’s side.
