Finally, the main striker that Laporta will be going for this transfer window is Erling Haaland. While it does seem unrealistic that the Borussia Dortmund striker will move to Barcelona, Laporta has a good relationship with Haaland’s agent, Mino Raiola, and a deal could be managed between the two parties. The Norwegian striker is considered to be one of the deadliest number nines in the world right now and he can reach the heights of Robert Lewandowski one day.

Laporta is extremely keen on bringing him to the Catalan side and he has made it very clear that Haaland is his main priority, The club did have a talk with the young superstar however, if a deal is to be negotiated, Barca will need some more investors to finance the transfer fee.

According to rumors, the club’s president is trying to negotiate a new sponsorship deal which could help fund Haaland’s deal, if not that, the Catalans could also use some of the money that will be granted to them by investment bank Goldman Sachs. The American investment bank is granting a high-interest loan to the Catalans for their new stadium however, Laporta could use some of that money to bring Haaland to the Blaugrana.
