#4 Samuel Umtiti

Another player who should leave the Catalans, as soon as possible, is Samuel Umtiti. The 2018 World Cup Winner with France is no longer the player he used to be and it has become evidently clear that his series of injuries have left him merely a shadow of his former self. Of course, his experience would help the youngsters at the club however, he is a liability for the club and another injury could be very expensive for the Blaugrana.

Umtiti is currently 27 years old and has only one year left in his contract with the Spanish giants. The Catalans are already desperate to remove him from the squad, as that would significantly cut down on the total player wages the club has to pay. While Laporta is ready to let the player go for free, it would be wiser to sell him in order to get some funds into the club.

Yes, the center-back will not bring in a huge amount to the club however, given his achievements and experience, he should still bring a decent amount to the club. Umtiti however, is adamant about finishing his contract with the Catalans, so it will be a tough battle between the club and the player.
