The English side has been linked with the player for more than a week now and it is about time that we see an official bid from the North London side. While their rivals, Arsenal, might be trying to steal the player from them, Tottenham is in a better financial position and can easily outbid the Gunners.

The new manager, Nuno Espírito Santo, seems to be quite interested in bringing the player to his club and Spurs’ sporting director, Fabio Paratici, has already worked with the player at Juventus before, thus it will not be too hard for him to convince the player to join the London side.
