#2 Martin Braithwaite (Denmark)

Yes, Martin Braithwaite is one of Barcelona’s most under-used players, and he will most probably be sold this season in order to raise funds; however, the player did have a decent run in Euros with Denmark. The Danes were definitely the dark horses of the tournament, and after their captain, Christen Eriksen, suffered a cardiac arrest on the field, many thought that Denmark would not even make it out of the group stages. However, Denmark managed to surprise everyone and make it all the way to the Semi-finals of the tournament through sheer hard work and amazing chemistry. While Braithwaite was certainly not the most stand-out player for the Scandinavian side, he put out some of his best performances in the Danish shirt. He was quick on his feet, made key passes, and seemed much more confident than when he played for Barcelona last season. He started in all of the six matches that Denmark played and he managed to score one goal in the tournament. While statistically, it may not seem amazing, his work on the field was extraordinary and thus he deserves to be on this list.
