#4 Pedri (Spain)

Pedri has done it again, he has managed to shock the footballing world with his immense skills and talent, at the age of only 18. Pedri like Andres Iniesta, does not always end up making the assist winning pass, or goes for goal himself however, what he does excel in is making the space for his teammates and finding key passes which can cut open stubborn defenses. He had a pass rate of 91.32% throughout the tournament after completing 421 out of his 461 attempted passes. His match against Italy was especially breathtaking, as he managed to keep a pass rate of 97%, misplacing only twice and successfully passing the ball 65 times. Spain’s manager, Enrique said,

“What Pedri has done in this tournament, at 18, no one has done. Not even Andrés Iniesta did that; it’s incredible, unique.”

Pedri rightfully went on to win the young player of the tournament award and we are sure he can win the player of the tournament award in the near future. He is one of Spain’s most valuable assets and they must make full use of this young talent.
