#5 Federico Chiesa (Italy)

One of the best performers from Euros this year was Italy’s Federico Chiesa. The 23-year-old right-winger from Juventus was fantastic in the Euros and played in all seven matches, eventually winning the tournament while having two goals to his name. He scored one against Austria, where he brilliantly controlled a cross with his head before moving the ball away from the incoming defender and finally scoring with his weaker foot. His second goal, against Spain was a brilliant goal as well. In a tightly locked match, Chiesa finally broke the deadlock via a beautifully curled shot from within the box.

His season with Juve was also quite decent, as he managed to score 14 times in all competitions, as well as provided 10 assists. The player was already approached by two giants, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, and Juventus are desperately trying to sign him permanently. The player at the moment still belongs to Fiorentina and his contract expires next year. Thus, if none of the clubs are able to persuade him, he will become a free agent next year and Barca will have a good chance of signing him.
