#5 Lucas Paqueta (Brazil)

One of Brazil’s most talented and rapidly rising midfielders is Lucas Paqueta. The attacking midfielder who made his big-money move to Europe in 2019 from Flamengo, could be potentially a great investment for the Catalans. The player who is currently playing for Lyon, had a brilliant Copa America run with Brazil, making six appearances out of the possible seven. He also scored two goals from only four starts and those goals were extremely important for Brazil. His two goals came in the quarter-finals, and the semi-finals of the tournament, against Chile and Peru respectively.

These goals were the only goals of the two matches and thus he ensured that the host nation would enter the finals. Without his heroics, Brazil might have not made it to the finals. His form for Lyon was also very impressive, scoring 10 goals while providing seven assists in all competitions. At the age of only 23, he can go on to develop into a high-scoring midfielder, and thus Barca cannot afford to miss out on him. He has already played for the likes of Flamengo, AC Milan, and Lyon, and thus, he has a lot of experience already. He would be a perfect fit for the Catalans.
