#3 Goal-scoring midfielder

The Spaniard is known to have a fantastic eye for goals. Whether it is knockout games or league games, the midfielder is known to have an impact when it comes to the scoreline. On many occasions, a lot of people may feel that Niguez has been misused by Diego Simeone. There were many instances in which the player was played in different positions. He was forced to do defensive work against the opposition.

For example, when Atleti played big teams, he was instructed to tail and keep tabs on Lionel Messi and other attacking players of other teams. He was also made to play as a left-back on many occasions for the team. This is where he failed to reach his potential.

At Barcelona, he will have a fresh opportunity to establish himself as just an attacking midfielder again. His duties will not include defensive work hence he will have more freedom and opportunities to move forward and get goals in. Knowing Saul, one can be surely confident that he will get multiple goals per season.
