#1 Link-up play

Everyone is aware of how good Barcelona can be when they have possession. All of their players have an extremely top way of passing the ball around comfortably. All of their creative midfielders such as Pedri, Messi, Sergio Busquets, and Frenkie De Jong have a great link-up. The addition of Saul will provide Barcelona with yet another luxury option in the midfield which will take their link up to another level.

Already they consist of so many creative players who have exquisite passing and link up during build-ups. Saul’s arrival to the Nou Camp will only enhance Barcelona’s power in the midfield. The attacking strength will be taken up a notch which means there will be more productivity, more goals, and more chances created. The players will be able to keep the possession well, keep the ball well and actually go ahead and do extremely well.

Saul Niguez will be a gorgeous addition to this Barcelona midfield. They may have to lose Antoine Griezmman for this particular deal but it won’t be a problem for them since they already landed two forwards in Olympic Lyon’s Memphis Depay and Manchester City’s Sergio Kun Aguero. Hence the addition of the 26-year-old to this Barcelona squad would be massive for Ronald Koeman.
