Kun Aguero the ideal replacement for Suarez for Messi and Barcelona
Now that Barcelona have a world-class striker in their hands, it is unlikely that they will have a troubled season like the last one that they had. Last season, although the team was in transition, they did not play as well as expected. The goals did come in, however, 30 out of their 85 goals in the league came from the same player. This is a huge flaw in the Barca team, they need the strikers to score, and last season they did not have any competent striker. This season, however, with the arrival of Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero, the Catalans will have a much better 2021/22 season.

The Blaugrana made a fatal error last season by letting go of one of their top players, Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan was a club legend, and a great friend of Lionel Messi. The club captain wrote a heartfelt farewell for the player who was deemed to be surplus at the club.
The decision to let him go soon proved to be very erroneous, as their star players such as Antoine Griezmann, and Ousmane Dembele struggled to find the back of the net consistently.
Sergio Aguero to be the ideal Striker for Barcelona
This season they have rectified that mistake by bringing in Aguero as a free transfer, and former Barca and Argentina coach, Cesar Luis Menotti, applauded their decision. He said in an interview with Super Deportivo Radio,
"“Messi was a great friend of Suarez, I still don’t know what Barcelona did to let him go, something that I think Messi felt a lot.”“And now Aguero is with him, they are always together and they have a very healthy relationship.”“Messi is going to be happy with this crazy man who is divine, because he is funny and also does not have anything to prove. He is a character, a charming boy.”Source Goal"
At the moment, the 34-year-old legend is still a free agent, although a deal is apparently ready to be signed. According to reports from top transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Messi will stay at Barcelona however, the Catalans do need to sell off a few of their players in order to make that dream a reality. Without the sale of a few top earners, it will be impossible to afford Messi, and with the addition of the salary cap placed upon them by La Liga, they will need to drastically cut down player wages as well.
Can Aguero be the striker Barca need for next season?
