24-year-old Rey Manaj has been around the European football circuit for a long time now, and he has also played for top-level European clubs such as Inter Milan and Granada. The striker, who came out of Sampdoria’s youth academy, joined Inter Milan in 2015. After several loan deals, the player finally joined the third-tier Spanish team, Albacete Balompié, and in 2020 he joined Barcelona’s second team. Thus, he is a player who is quite experienced and he has shown his talent during the first two friendlies, against Gimnastic and Girona. He scored a fantastic hat-trick in the first match, and he scored another goal in his second match. He was not on the scoresheet in the third match however, he did make an appearance. According to reports, the Catalans might be looking to sell the player however, after his recent matches, Koeman has reportedly asked the club to keep him. With the introduction of Memphis Depay and Sergio Aguero, there might not be enough room for him, however, if an opportunity arises, Koeman will surely let the player make the most out of it.
