#4 Nico Gonzalez (Age: 19 | Position: Midfielder)

19-year-old Nico Gonzalez has been in the Barcelona circuit for nine years now, joining La Masia when he was only 11 years of age. He has worked his way up the ranks of the organization, and earned his much-deserved B team contract in 2020. He has been a part of two of the three friendlies that Barcelona has participated in, and he has managed to impress us in both of the games. While players like Manaj and Alex Collado can impress fans with their goal-scoring abilities, Gonzalez does not really come off that flashy, however, he has been really impressive in his position. He has been playing in Sergi Busquets’ spot in the friendlies, and there is a belief that he might replace the aging Spaniard one day. Manchester City had shown some interest in him in the past however, the Spaniard secured his future with Barcelona after signing a new contract with the Blaugrana in May.
