Attack:

Striker: Memphis Depay

Provided Memphis Depay is registered, he’s likely to start his first game for the club. Depay has been in electric form in pre-season and will be eager to win the support of cules as soon as possible. The Dutchman will head the Barcelona attack and will hope to score in his first game for Barcelona.

Left wing: Martin Braithwaite

With Ansu Fati and Ousmane Dembele injured, Braithwaite could start for the Blaugrana. He’s played on the left side previously for Barca as well as his national side Denmark. There is a lot of talk regarding his future as Barcelona are even looking to sell the Danish player. However, the former Leganes player has no intention to leave and thinks he can be useful to Koeman.

Right wing: Antoine Griezmann

With Messi departing, Antoine Griezmann has to step up the most and show why the club paid 120 million euros for him. He can no longer play a supporting role, he has to be the leader in the attack, play the role of a forward and even assist as a creator. He’s thrived in a similar role in the France national team, now it’s high time he performs consistently in the Blaugrana shirt.
