It has been a frustrating time for Barca fans as of late their club have failed to put up convincing performances on the pitch. On Saturday, Barcelona suffered another defeat in La Liga as they were beaten 2-0 by Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano. This loss has now seen the Blaugrana outfit slip further down to ninth place in the league table.

But after the game, current boss Ronald Koeman told the press that  “everything’s perfect” at the club. To be precise, the Dutchman said:

"Clarity is very important, for the confidence of the coach, for the players too, for them to know the coach is still here. We are Barca, we still have to win games. This pressure is also normal. It exists for any coach, even more at Barca, but the president has spoken well, he has made his decision, as he said this afternoon, and everything is perfect."

Despite receiving backing from Laporta, the former Everton coach will be under pressure to deliver results for the club. It has been a disappointing campaign for Barcelona as they have not only failed to consolidate their position in the league campaign but are also in fear of crashing out from the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.

How can Barcelona make a comeback?

The La Liga giants are now scheduled to play their next game on the 17th and they will be up against Valencia. Fortunately, the Catalans will have a slight advantage over their rivals as the game is set to be hosted at Camp Nou. Barca’s last fixture at their home ground did end on a positive note as they were able to beat Levante 3-0.

Nevertheless, this game will be another litmus test for Ronald Koeman as the visitors have been in good form this season. As of now, Barcelona should take one game at a time and therefore their primary aim should be to pick up a win against the Bats.
