With international football coming in to ruin some of our weekends, loyal fans will still be able to see some of their most treasured players in action. Barcelona fans will be hoping to see some of the youngsters who have been called up for the Spanish side, and hopefully, a good international break will mean that these players can get back into fighting form quickly. The squad needs a break and a boost in morale and the international break is the way to do it. Thus, without any ado, here are, three Barcelona youngsters you need to keep your eyes on:

Eric Garcia  (Spain)

Eric Garcia is one of the players who has worked with Luis Enrique before and the manager has a good idea about his strengths and weaknesses. He was called up for the Euros a few months ago and he ended up playing three games for the Spanish national team. At the age of 20, that is a huge achievement and since Enrique has called him up once again, he must have done something to impress the coach. He is a great young player and even Pep Guardiola praised him a lot. The Manchester City manager wanted to keep him in England but Garcia chose to move to Barca where he would get first-team football.

However, although he has been getting first-team football, he has not been performing well enough. He has already gotten two red cards this season, including one direct red. This sort of performance is not acceptable. Under his watch, the team got thrashed by Bayern Munich, as well as Benfica in the Champions League and thus, he was not even selected in the recent match against Atletico Madrid. The Catalans have talented center-backs but they must build their confidence and chemistry and do better to keep clean sheets. Hopefully, he will be able to improve his overall game in the international break and emulate his performance for Barca as well.
