According to new reports from Sports.es, Xavi Hernandez is already looking to make a few new transfers when he arrives at Barcelona. Although the majority of the youngsters will remain in the club and Xavi could take advantage of the number of talented players Ronald Koeman was not playing, there are a few players who he will be wanting to bring in as well. Unlike Koeman, Xavi prefers to play a traditional 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 however for that he will need some traditional wingers. Right now Sergino Dest is playing as the right-winger; however, he is actually a wing-back.

Barcelona do have two amazing wingers right now, Ousmane Dembele and Ansu Fati however, Koeman liked to play with Fati as a striker, and Dembele was injured. The former Borussia Dortmund man is currently injured and Xavi has not spoken about him so we do not know where he stands on Dembele at the moment. However, given his injury record and his lack of goals for Barcelona, we could assume that Dembele will have to significantly up his game if he wants to remain in the team. Sports.es claims that Xavi has told his associates that Kingsley Coman is a striker that he adores and will probably go for if he returns to Barca.

Kingsley Coman is an immensely talented player who is entering the prime of his career. However, due to injuries and inconsistency, he could not attain the levels he was capable of. He has still helped Bayern Munich on a number of occasions, including the UEFA Champions League finals in 2019/20. He was much more involved in the last season however, a heart problem this season meant that he was out at the beginning. He has now returned to training, however, if Munich does not give the playing time that he deserves, he might be ready for a move to another club.
