De Ligt would be a perfect fit into the Barca team and he would even have the opportunity to link up with his old teammate, Sergino Dest, and Frenkie de Jong. However, for that to happen, the Catalans must offload Philippe Coutinho and Umtiti, as they are two of the highest earners on the team. However, even if they manage to sell both of those players, acquiring De Ligt will be a tough job since he is considered one of the main players at Juve and he also has a contract till 2024 with the club. It will be a tough one for the Catalans however if they manage to sign the player, there is no doubt that he will captain the backline of the team.
