Ousmane Dembele Approached By 3 Premier League Teams

Barcelona News: According to reports, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have all made contact with Ousmane Dembele. He is refusing to sign a new deal.

Barcelona News: Santi Aouna, a well-known French journalist, has reported that Ousmane Dembele will leave Barcelona as a free agent during the summer transfer window of next year. The Frenchman, on the other hand, is a popular figure in the market. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are among those interested in bringing him to the Premier League.

After joining Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017, many experts and fans predicted that he will eventually replace Neymar in the long run. Despite this, the 24-year-old has shown to be everything but after suffering a string of injuries over the course of the previous four and a half seasons.

A similar situation has prevailed throughout the current season. The 24-year-old has accrued just 438 minutes of playing time in eight appearances. He has also contributed two assists. Dembele, on the other hand, is entering the last year of his contract with Barcelona. This has placed the Blaugrana in a precarious position. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle United have all been made aware of the issue.

However unexpected, Chelsea’s enthusiasm for the project is comprehensible in this day and age. Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic, and Timo Werner are among the Blues’ recent acquisitions who have deceived the club. So, this has placed their careers at Stamford Bridge in jeopardy.

Interestingly, each member of Chelsea’s offensive three has been linked with a move to Barcelona. So, the club will be in desperate need of a replacement if any of the players go.

Ousmane Dembele is a realistic option for any team despite his injury records

Dembele, despite his injury history, is a realistic option for Chelsea in this regard. While the pursuit of Dembele by Manchester United is admirable, the fact that Ralf Rangnick has so many offensive players at his disposal with the additions of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer defies belief.

Even though Edinson Cavani has been widely linked with a move away from the club, Dembele is not a direct replacement for the Uruguayan striker. The Barcelona winger, on the other hand, would boost the attack of Newcastle United. This is why he is a feasible target for the Magpies, who are in dire need of reinforcements.

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are also interested in acquiring Dembele. And each of the five teams has contacted his agent to inquire about the possibility of a Bosman transfer.

There is little doubt that Dembele is on his way out of Barcelona. Because his expectations of a €40 million gross salary and a €40 million incentive payment look to be exorbitant for a team in financial difficulties.
