#3 Divock Origi

The first player that the Catalans could go for is none other than Liverpool’s Divock Origi. The same man who put the nail in the coffin for Barca’s UEFA Champions League dreams in the 2018/19 season might end up in Catalunya next season. The 26-year-old is running out of his current contract and Liverpool have not made a proper statement regarding the extension of his contract. With the likes of Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane already at their disposal, Origi is the one who is benched the majority of the time.

This means that the club does not really require the player and he will always be a substitute player for them. Origi who is now in his prime is by no means a world-class winger however, he does have a very good goal-scoring ability, and training under the prolific Jurgen Klopp has made him a very viable player. He would not be Barca’s first pick, however, considering the fact that he would come on a free transfer and he has the ability to perform in big fixtures, the Catalans should not rule him out. Add to that his versatility and good work rate and you get a player who will help the team even if he is not scoring.
