#1 Alex Sandro

The main player that the Catalans want to go for at the moment is none other than Alex Sandro of Juventus. The Brazilian superstar was on every big team’s radar a couple of years ago but he decided to stay with the Old Lady. Now things are different and he is no longer the only choice for the Italian giants. Sandro is already 30 years old and with the renovation project going on at Juve, the Italians are focusing more on young players. Sandro is still an important player however, he is getting healthy competition from the youngsters.

The player will still be a decent upgrade over Alba who is struggling to keep up at his age. However, buying the player outright would be a bad move since he should be seen as more of a temporary replacement. Sandro is not young and going to Barcelona on a loan deal could help out his career a bit. He will get more game time and Barca will most likely loan him till the end of 2023. Balde is still the player who Xavi is counting upon in the future however, Sandro would be a brilliant short-term fix.
