#4 Niklas Sule of Bayern Munich

Another player who could be a brilliant signing for the Catalans but a bit difficult on the financial part is Niklas Sule. The German player who has been with Bayern Munich for almost five years now is almost at the end of his contract and he has made it clear that he does not want to continue with the club. Whether that is to find new challenges or due to the fact that he thinks there is too much competition within the Bayern squad is currently unknown. What is known, however, is the fact that he has finally grown into his boots and he is at the level where he could easily slide into the first team of any top club.

The player who was used to playing second fiddle to Jerome Boateng and David Alaba for most of his Bayern career has now finally made a name for himself at the club and he has been heavily used in the team. However, he is not the only centre-back who has been implemented a lot, players such as Dayot Upamecano and Lucas Hernandez have also been heavily used. The manager likes to rotate the three of them and give each of them equal chances. Currently, Sule and Hernandez are the ones being favored by the manager however, Sule fears that the rising Upamecano could easily replace him in the near future.

Since he is in the prime of his career, he does not want to go back to the bench and has thus decided to move on from the club. Barca could try to lure him in with the promise of game time however, the main problem is clubs such as Newcastle United and Chelsea are also interested in the player and they could easily pay a lot more than what Barca can afford.
