Barcelona superstar and La Masia prodigy, Ansu Fati, has been under the spotlight ever since he made his debut for the first team. The charismatic youngster has the flair for getting goals and getting past his man which makes him very dangerous in the third half of the pitch. Although he is extremely young right now, if he continues to perform the way he does, he can grow up to provide the same impact that Lionel Messi gave during his time at the club. However, although his future looks bright, the one thing that is pulling him down and hindering his career is his injuries.

Fati, like Ousmane Dembele, has been injury-prone and his legs have been creating problems for him for quite a while now. He also had a hamstring injury recently and it seems as if he just cannot get past this curse. He needs to play for a longer period of time without any injuries in order to really showcase his abilities however, that is just not possible at the moment. The player recovered from a hamstring injury in January but then got the same injury again. According to Diario AS, the club wanted him to go for surgery but he chose not to do so.

Ansu Fati is confident about his return to help Barcelona

He was tracked down for a quick word by their reporter and he reportedly said that he was happy with his recovery pace and that everything was going quite well. He is being treated by one of the world’s best and most renowned physiotherapists in the footballing world and although his club wanted him to undergo surgery, he is happy with the conventional treatment. He will probably be back in action by late March so this season has been another disappointment for him. Hopefully, next season fortune will be on his side and he will have a cleaner season.
