Barcelona and Real Madrid both interested in this rising talent
Top teams in the world are always looking for new talents to add to their already impressive squad and Barcelona is no different. This is a club that believes in making talents rather than buying pre-existing stars. While that philosophy may have gotten a bit muddied during the reign of former President, Joseph Maria Bartomeu, the current president wants to start using the youngsters again and their new manager, Xavi Hernandez, is also passionate about building the team around the youngsters. Now, it seems as if Barca and their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, are interested in the same youngster from Real Racing and it would be interesting to see who ends up with the talented payer.
Barcelona and Real Madrid want Pablo Torre
Pablo Torre, an 18-year-old attacking midfielder has brought Racing into the spotlight again after many years. The youngster has brought a refreshing breath of fresh air into the club and it is not hard to see why top teams are interested in him. He is a great carrier of the ball and since he is only 5ft 6inches in height, it is really hard to get him off the ball. Apart from his centre of gravitational advantage, he also has tremendously quick feet and is extremely aware of his surroundings. He is not a selfish player and will not try to overextend his runs however, he does have a deadly finish and has already scored six times in the league while also providing six assists.
The player’s release clause is set at 10 million euros however, his market value is a bit below that so Barca will not outright buy him but would rather bid for him. There is also a possibility of him joining Barca later since Racing can get promoted to the second tier of Spanish football and the Catalans would definitely want to see his performance there. However, they cannot wait too long for the player since Madrid has already shown interest in the player and he is also attracted to the Premier League since Eden Hazard is one of his main inspirations. Barca should move fast on this player since he can be like the next Andres Iniesta.
Will Pablo Torre succeed at Barca?
