Aubameyang tries to convince Dembele into staying at Barcelona

Barcelona is in a big mess due to the Ousmane Dembele situation. The 24-year-old superstar who came in from Borussia Dortmund for over 100 million euros might leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season and that will be a huge financial mishap for the club. The player was offered a new contract near the end of last year and it was expected that he would sign it and continue playing for the Blaugrana. However, the main problem that arose was the lower wages and he then refused to sign.

According to the transfer specialist, the Gabonese striker has been in conversation with Dembele and is trying to convince him into staying. The player is finally playing consistently under Xavi and it will be a shame to see him leave now. The only way Barca will not lose money on this player is if he ends up renewing his contract. Although the manager wants him to stay, it will be extremely difficult to make that possible unless he agrees to reduce his demands.
