Barcelona have been banned from the summer transfer market unless they can raise £178 million in order to comply with La Liga’s Financial Fair Play regulations. This has made European giants take an interest in multiple Barca superstars in order to lure them away from Camp Nou as President Joan Laporta might be forced into selling in the summer.

Inter Milan have taken a particular interest in Franck Kessie with Gazzetta Dello Sport previously reporting that the 26-year-old is a top target for the Serie A side. While the Ivorian international is yet to find a permanent spot in the overcrowded midfield at Camp Nou, he hopes that with Sergio Busquets potentially leaving in the summer, he could become a regular alongside Gavi, Pedri, and Frenkie de Jong.

Inter Milan are eyeing multiple Barcelona stars

While Inter are prioritizing Kessie, the midfielder isn’t their only target with Mundo Deportivo (via Gazzetta Dello Sport) reporting that the Serie A giants have decided to join the race for Samuel Umtiti. The French international left the Nou Camp to find more regular playtime while also recovering from his poor form. Joining Italian side Lecce has turned out to be a great decision for the World Cup winner with multiple Serie A clubs looking to secure the 29-year-old in the summer.

While the loan move at Lecce was slow-paced at first, the centre-back has become a regular playing in 13 of the last 15 matches with most of them being for the entire 90 minutes. It is unlikely that the Catalans will want Umtiti back and with a contract expiring this summer, the Frenchman is likely to decide his own future with Inter offering a great opportunity to the outcast.
