Agent of Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati, Jorge Mendes, has reportedly presented an offer to the club on behalf of Wolverhampton. The proposal is said to include €30 million and Rúben Neves, who has an agreement with Barça. The total value of the deal would result in a profit of more than €60 million for the Catalan club. However, while negotiations are ongoing, the player has not yet made a decision about his future.

Mendes has been attempting to generate interest in Fati from Premier League clubs, but has had little success, with only Manchester United showing any interest. However, the figures offered by the Manchester Giants are reportedly insufficient for Barça. The Catalan club is only willing to part with the young talent for a significant sum, and Mendes has therefore turned his attention to Wolverhampton, a club he has a strong relationship with.

Barcelona could consider the sale of Ansu Fati

The offer Mendes has presented to Barça includes €30 million and Rúben Neves. While there is no option to choose another player, the offer would help Barça lower their salary cap and potentially make a profit this financial year. The proposal is currently under review, but the decision ultimately lies with the player, who must make a choice about his future.

Mendes recently met with Ansu and his family to discuss the offer and the market in general. While Mendes believes that Wolves could be a stepping stone for the young player to establish himself in the Premier League, Ansu’s family was not convinced. While Ansu’s father assured that he was not considering a move from Barça, negotiations are ongoing, and Barça will speak with the player once the season is over.

It is expected that Xavi Hernandez, the current Barça coach, will make Ansu’s situation clear for next season, including how much he will play if he stays. Ansu will have to make a decision about his future based on this information.
