Ansu Fati could be soon plying his trade in the Premier League, with Barcelona reported to be open to accepting a swap deal offer from Wolves.

The La Masia graduate has endured a tough season under Xavi, who has only handed the 20-year-old 11 starts in the league so far. Fati’s last five league appearances have all come as a substitute. In limited minutes, the Spaniard has not managed to do enough to raise question marks over his manager’s team selection.

Raphinha and Ferran Torres have impressed on the flanks lately, and in a box-midfield shape, Gavi has occupied the fourth spot, leaving space for just two attackers in the lineup. Regardless, Fati is still highly rated and continues to attract interest from elsewhere.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing the dynamic forward. The Premier League side shares a good relationship with Jorge Mendes, the agent of Fati. They are led by Julen Lopetegui, the former Real Madrid and Sevilla manager, who is certain to have plenty of insight into La Liga stars.

Barcelona ready to accept offer from Premier League club for Fati

The club from England’s west midlands have reportedly proposed an offer of £26m and Ruben Neves in exchange for Fati’s services. And according to SPORT, Barcelona are satisfied with the swap deal offer, and are waiting for Fati’s final say.

The Portuguese midfielder isn’t an upgrade on the likes of Frenkie de Jong or Pedri, but his ability to retain possession and impressive ball-striking could make him a good option for midfield depth.

However, it is believed that Fati is eager to continue at Barcelona. But considering his situation under Xavi, it’s best to move elsewhere. In recent  seasons, Nélson Semedo and Francisco Trincão have left Camp Nou for Molineux. Interestingly, both players are also represented by Mendes.
