Ferran Torres – Forward

If you follow Barcelona closely, you’ll have heard Torre’s name linked with an exit from Camp Nou all summer. If Barca needs to facilitate a statement departure, Torres is likely right at the top of the list.

But, a good pre-season can do wonders for a player’s confidence and a manager’s confidence in a certain player.

When Torres arrived at Barca from Manchester City he made a good first impression scoring 7 goals in his first 25 appearances. But that’s as good as it’s been for the 23-year-old Spanish international.

With the arrival of Raphinha last summer and the form of Dembele, Torres was often used as a substitute and with the emergence of other talents, getting him off the wage bill may be a priority for the Barca management team.

He needs to discover the form he showed when he first arrived, and like Xavi has said so often this pre-season, everyone is getting a clean slate.
