Barcelona Team News
Last week’s game saw both Raphinha and Xavi receive red cards which means the pair will have to watch the game from the bench area. Also, with Ronald Araujo still injured, Barcelona are suddenly thin in the right-back department which might allow Sergio Roberto to fill in there.
Inigo Martinez is another CB who looks unfit to play and may not make it onto the pitch yet as the former Bilbao defender looks to make his way to a full recovery.
Barcelona Potential Starting XI (4-3-3):
Marc-André ter Stegen (GK), Sergio Roberto (RB), Andreas Christensen (CB), Jules Koundé (CB), Alejando Balde (LB), Oriol Romeu (CM), Frenkie de Jong (CM), Ilkay Gundogan (CM) Pedri (LW), Torres (RW), Lewandowksi (ST)
With no Raphinha, this may be the perfect opportunity for Torres to prove that he is at the level for Barcelona. In addition, with Gavi still not at full fitness, it may allow Xavi to continue with his box midfield substituting Gunogan for the former.
Cádiz Team News
After a 14th-place finish last season, Cádiz looks to begin their long fight toward surviving another La Liga season. They got off to a good start last week with a 1-0 win over Alaves. However, they also dealt with some red card controversy as Gonzalo Escalante was sent off in the 88th minute.
Cádiz Predicted Starting XI (4-4-2):
Jeremias Ledesma (GK), Isaac Carcelén (RB), Luis Hernández (CB), Rafael Jiménez Jarque (CB), Javi Hernández (LB), Iván Alejo (LM), Fede (CM), Reuben Alcaraz (CM), Darwin Machís (RM), Chris Ramos (ST), Roger (ST).

Barcelona & Getafe – Current Form
Barcelona – After a 4-2 win against Tottenham in the Joan Gamper Trophy, Barcelona stumbled out the gate and saw red twice. While they still managed to nab a draw, it was not the best of starts for the Catalan club who hoped to rebound with a win against Los Piratas.
Cádiz – The port side club began their season with a 1-0 win against Alaves and after a few close games in the preseason, will look to continue a strong run of form early in the season. Before their most recent match, Cádiz’s last two games both went to penalty shootouts vs Leece and Cordoba with Cádiz winning both.
Barcelona vs Cádiz Score Prediction
Cádiz 1-3 Barcelona
It should be a good game between the two teams early in the season. I think Barcelona’s firepower in attack will be too much to handle for Cádiz and Barcelona will cruise to a 3-1 victory with a Lewandowski brace and a goal from Pedri.
