Good morning! FC Barcelona are set for a very busy 48 hours with the summer transfer window set to close tomorrow evening. There are a number of deals currently in the works and we’re going to use this post for a number of updates throughout the day. Once a deal is confirmed we’ll post a separate post, but for all the quick updates in one place, this is the thread. Make sure you bookmark this article so you can reference back to it throughout the day:

[8:20 PM – Update] Barcelona are expected to confirm the departures of both Clement Lenglet and Ansu Fati today. Both players heading out on loan. [Barca Buzz]

[7:40 pm – Update] Athletico Madrid is looking for a loan fee of €8 million for Joao Felix, they also want Barcelona to pay 100% of his salary [Gerard Romero]

[6:45 pm – Update] Barcelona have been drawn with FC Porto (Portugal), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Royal Antwerp FC (Belgium)

[6:15 pm – Update] Barcelona has agreed on a deal with LAFC to sign centre-back Mamadou Fall (20). It’s initially a loan deal with a purchase option.  [Tom Bogert]

[5:00 pm – Update] FC Barcelona say that unless a lot of money comes in, the signing of João Felix will be very difficult. But they’re not giving up hope.  [Mundo Deportivo]

[4:35 pm – Update] Ansu Fati has now arrived in London and will travel to Brighton to complete a medical and documents today.

[4:15 pm – Update] Joao Cancelo will arrive in Barcelona tomorrow, the transfer is still complex with both sides reviewing all the details to make it happen. [AS]

[3:30 pm – Update] Fati had a conversation with Xavi yesterday and the the Barca manager couldn’t guarantee minutes, leading to his move to Brighton. [Tony Juanmati]

[1:20 pm – Update] La Liga has approved the €20.2 million bank guarantee, giving the green light for further registrations and signings [Jijantes]

[1:15 pm – Update] Abde and Barcelona will meet again today to try and determine his future. Abde wants assurances over his first-team opportunities. [Matte Moretto]

[12:30 pm- Update] Brighton will cover 80% of Ansu Fati’s wages this year. [Romano]

[12:28 pm – Update] Xavi is insisting that Abde, Alonso and Eric Garcia remain at Barcelona for the 2023/24 season. [Gabriel Sans]

[12:19 pm – Update] Full agreement reached between Brighton and Barcelona. The loan deal will be for a year and will not include a purchase option for the Premier League side. [David Ornstein]

[12:15 pm – Update] Ansu Fati will travel to England in around one hour time, the decision has been made, and he’ll move to Brighton on loan [Romano]

[11:37 am – Update] Marcos Alonso is not considering leaving Barcelona [Gabriel Sans]

[11:15 am – Update] – Clement Lenglet is currently in Birmingham undergoing his medical with Aston Villa. The Barcelona player is set to confirm his loan deal. [Romano]

[11:00 am – Update] – Ansu Fati has a flight scheduled to fly to Brighton this afternoon and complete his loan deal to the Premier League club [Romano]

[10:30 am – Update] – Abde’s representatives will hold a meeting with Barcelona today to try and reach a conclusion on his future [Matte Moretto]
