Good morning. We’re back with another live blog, on what promises to be a fascinating transfer deadline day for FC Barcelona. Ansu Fati is expected to complete his loan move to Brighton and Clement Lenglet is expected to end up at Aston Villa, but will Abde also be on his way out? Can Barcelona confirm the signings of Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix before the clock runs out?

Barcelona Transfer Deadline Day – Live Blog

[8:57 pm – Cancelo & Felix] HERE WE GO. Both Felix and Cancelo will join Barcelona on simple loan deals today. [Romano]

[8:42 pm – Garcia update] Barcelona defender Eric García joins Girona on loan without an option to buy. Girona will pay a part of Garcia’s salary. [JijantesFC]

[8:40 pm – Felix update] Felix will sign with Barcelona on loan and the Catalan club will not have n option to purchase. [Romano]

[6:43 pm – Casado Update] Grenada wants to sign Marc Casado on loan with an option to purchase [Marcos Benito]

[6:15 pm – General Update] Cancelo and Joao Felix are now both in Barcelona and it’s only a matter of time. Abde is not training with Barcelona as he looks to complete his move to Real Betis but Eric Garcia is training as his move to Girona is uncertain. [Multiple sources]

[4:10 pm – Garcia Update] Barcelona defender Eric Garcia is getting closer to joining Girona. The player wanted the move to gain extra first-team minutes. [FCBRAC1]

[4:08 pm – Abde Update] Abde is expected to complete a permanent transfer to Real Betis today with the club paying €10-€12 million and Barca holding 50% of any future transfer. However, Real Betis don’t currently have the FFP margin to make the deal. [Mundo Deportivo & Helena Condis]

[3:35 pm – Felix Update] – Joao Felix is set to arrive in Barcelona at 5 pm CET in order to complete his move from Athletico Madrid on loan. [Victor Navarro]

[3:00 pm – Update] La Liga sources have confirmed to Gerard Romero that Barcelona have been given the green light to sign both Cancelo and Felix today. [JijantesFC]

[2:45 pm – Cancelo Update] Manchester City has given the green light for Cancelo to move to Barcelona on loan. The deal is expected to be completed tonight. [Gerard Romero]

[2:30 pm – Cancelo Update] Cancelo is due to arrive in Barcelona tonight at 6 pm CST, although there are complications, the deal is moving in the right direction. [JijantesFC]

[2:19 pm – Fati OFFICIAL] Ansu Fati has joined Brighton on a season-long loan deal. A great move for Brighton and for Fati, who will be the main man for the Seagulls. [Barcelona Official]

[2:06 pm – Abde Update] Abde is just one step away from joining Real Betis, it’s getting very close. [Matteo Moretto]

[1:47 pm – Abde Update] Real Betis have offered €10M + Guido Rodríguez to Barça for Abde. It’s unclear how much interest Barca has in Guido. [DBR8]

[1:37 pm – Cancelo Update] Bayern Munich are interested in bringing Joao Cancelo back on loan now that Benjamin Pavard has moved to Inter. [Helena Condis]

[1:35 pm – Lewandowski] The €40 million offer from Saudi Arabia will not be considered as it offers no immediate financial release for Barcelona. [SPORT]

[12:20 pm – Cancelo Update] A mystery Champions League club have made a last-ditch effort to sign Joao Cancelo from under Barcelona’s nose [Adrià Albets]

[11:48 am – Cancelo Update] The agreement between Manchester City and Barcelona for Joao Cancelo is imminent [Javi Miguel]

[11:47 am – Abde Update] Abde Ezzazouli wants to leave Barcelona and is pushing for a permanent transfer. Real Betis are hoping to get the deal done [Javi Miguel]

[11:38 am – Felix Update] Athletico Madrid is denying the earlier report by Luis Rojo that they’ve reached an agreement with Barcelona over the Joao Felix transfer [Gerard Romero] 

[11:30 am – Abde Update] There is a growing sense that a deal will be reached between Real Betis and Barcelona on the permanent transfer of Abde today [Tony Juanmarti]

[11:27 am – Felix Update] An agreement has been reached between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid for the loan of Joao Felix. [Luis Rojo]

[10:30 am – Felix Update] Athletico Madrid confirms Felix won’t train with the team due to personal reasons [Víctor Navarro]

[10:10 am – Abde Update] Barcelona have informed Abde that he can only leave on a permanent deal, and they won’t let him leave on loan. Real Betis is interested [Tony Juanmarti]

[10:00 am – Lenglet Update] – Clement Lenglet has completed his Aston Villa medical. Documents will now be exchanged between Barcelona and Villa. [Romano]

[10:00 am – Fati Update] – Ansu Fati arrived at Brighton’s training ground yesterday. The Seagulls will pay around 80 per cent of his salary – Roberto de Zerbi was crucial for this deal to happen. [Romano]
