Lamine Yamal – 6.5

You can’t expect a 16-year-old to constantly put on a show and this was a quieter game for Yamal who couldn’t really get anything going. He wasn’t bad, he was just very quiet. I’d quite like to see Yamal work with Cancelo, but I’m not sure there would be a great deal of defending happening there.

Robert Lewandowski – 7.5

This was a little better from the Polish striker, his movement was better and he had a couple of good chances where he tested the keeper. He won and scored the winning penalty, but you still can’t help but think something is missing.

Ferran Torres – 6

I can’t say as I remember Torres doing a great deal, but he also didn’t make any errors either. It was good to see him get 30+ minutes today but it wasn’t a memorable game for him.

Joao Felix – 6.5

Put in a shift when he did come on and was a willing defender when it got a little tight at the end. He also made a number of intelligent runs in behind that should have been rewarded. Had De Jong been on the ball at the time of the runs, they probably would have.

Raphinha – NA

Came on in stoppage time and won a key corner to run the clock down. But wasn’t on enough to impact the game.
