Barcelona tipped to sign RB Leipzig midfielder next summer

There are currently contrasting reports about the financial situation at FC Barca, with the details set to be officially released later this month. According to BILD (via ESPN) in Germany, it’s becoming increasingly likely that Dani Olmo will be making the switch to Catalonia next summer.

It’s believed that Olmo’s contract in Leipzig contains a release clause which is set between €60-€65 million depending on the club. Olmo spent time during his youth with Barca before moving on a free transfer to Dinamo Zagreb, and reportedly would see a return as a dream move

Olmo has started the season well for Leipzig having scored 2 goals and assisted another in just 3 Bundesliga appearances. He also scored a hattrick in the 2023 DFL-Supercup against Bayern Munich.
