Camp Nou. 62,652 fans. A title that could mathematically be sealed by full-time. Hansi Flick could field his strongest available side for arguably the biggest game of the season, El Clasico.
Barcelona predicted starting XI
GK: Joan Garcia - Consecutive clean sheets and carries the confidence and swagger of a keeper who absolutely belongs at this level. This is El Clasico and the biggest test he will face this season.
RB: Jules Kounde - Reinstated after his ban at the perfect moment. His pace, and understanding of transitions and ability to keep Vinicius in check against the counter attacks will be absolutely vital.
CB: Pau Cubarsi - Has played every minute of the title charge without even looking slightly out of his depth. Goes into the game facing the combined menace of Vinicius and Brahim in the channels and he will not flinch.
CB: Gerard Martin - Has been Barcelona's rock this year and this unexpected success has become one of the highlights of their campaign. His pairing with Cubarsi is becoming seriously impressive.
LB: Joao Cancelo - Keeps his place in the side over Balde. His experience and ability to hold the attacking width will be important for Hansi Flick's side.
CM: Gavi - Yellow carded and on a warning along with Raphinha. Gavi's aggression and pressing ability on El Clasico is not something that Flick would leave out.
CM: Pedri - Widely considered the best midfielder in the world, he will be instrumental for Barcelon's midfield. What Pedri does tonight will be the rhythm to everything that Barcelona produce.
CAM: Dani Olmo - Plays as the central attacking midfielder. Olmo's pressing triggers, runs into pockets and ability to link up with Lewandowski will be a massive key in how Barcelona produce chances.
RW: Fermin Lopez - The youngster has 29 goals and assists across all competitions this year, and starts on the right instead of his preferred left wing role, suggesting Flick will use his energetic pressing to target Madrid's left-hand side.
ST: Robert Lewandowski - 37, playing in El Clasico with a title to be confirmed and he knows what to do. A goal tonight and the contract debate becomes a non-issue.
LW: Marcus Rashford - The surprise selection over Roony in this tie. Flick trusts the pace and physicality against Trent Alexander-Arnold on the right-hand side. And in the transition this will be an absolute key match-up and one of the key areas to Barcelona's game.
Key Absences
Lamine Yamal: Ruled out for the season
Andreas Christensen: Not yet cleared
Raphinha: On the bench.
What to expect
Flick opts for his familiar 4-2-3-1, with Gavi and Pedri acting as a base for Olmo as the attacking midfielder, while Fermn and Rashford provide the width. Lewandowski will operate as the lone striker.
Arbeloa will lead out a depleted Madrid side lacking the services of Carvajal, Militao, Rodrygo, Mendy, Valverde and Arda Guler.
Barcelona need just a point to mathematically confirm the La Liga title and a win would see them confirm the league at Camp Nou, in front of 62,652 fans.
Flick's 200th game as a manager. El Clasico. The league title. A huge night at Camp Nou awaits.
