It's finally Champions League week again, where Barcelona will face Club Brugge. After a remarkable performance against the Greek giants last time around, they will be traveling to Belgium to showcase their resilience against a tricky side like Brugge.
We got to see Flick's squad in action on Sunday against Elche, where they managed to win with comfortable ease scoring three goals, definitely a much needed return to winning ways after the defeat in El Clasico.
Individually talking, the team didn't lack to provide once again, with Marcus Rashford getting on the score-sheet - making it his 11th goal contribution for the season.
Lamine Yamal is also worth mentioning, after a "statement goal", considering the chronic injury he's been going through and the backlash he received after the match against Madrid. The expectations of the young star have risen significantly after his consistent performance, and along with that the pressure. Although we've seen him perform under pressure, there's still a long way to go.
I surely can't forget about Fermin Lopez, with an outstanding hat trick against Olympiacos and a double assist against Elche. He has been flying this season and he's surely filling in for Dani Olmo's absence due to injury. His explosive play-style and restless attitude have definitely been portrayed on the pitch for every recent result that Barcelona has had.
The injury list unfortunately has been rising with the most recent one being a crucial one, the mastermind of Barca's midfield, Pedri. On the bright side though, Lewandowski and Olmo have been making significant progress on coming back to being fully fit, and hopefully soon enough we will get to see them in their best form.
Last but not least, we expect an intense fight against a side we cannot underestimate, and we seek to get the best result as a move in Champiosn League top eight will certainly be welcomed and a confidence boost after an injury-hit first half of the season.
